Remove outer leaves from cabbage and cut into tender strips. Sauté onion in butter, cut into tiny pieces. Add cabbage, . Add apples and jam.

Add red wine and raspberry vinegar. Add sugar and simmer over medium heat with lid on for 40-45 minutes.

During the cooking time always mix the cabbage nicely. I intentionally omit spices like clove or cinnamon.

If my version is too sour, use only half raspberry vinegar.

Tip: Always use aromatic spices to refine your dishes!
